Frank Avery

Frank Avery joined the SCHFCA in June 2010 as the Staff Intern. As a rising fourth year student at the University of South Carolina, Frank's studies in political science and religious studies have focused primarily on green politics and philosophy, international relations in the Arab and Islamic worlds, and the role of the world's religions in green thought. Additionally, he will graduate in spring 2011 with minors in Islamic World Studies and Environmental Studies in hopes of pursuing a career in law. He has participated in various organizations including currently as the Vice President of Administration for the Carolina Judicial Council, a member of Omega Delta Kappa and Sigma Iota Rho honor societies, and the Green Quad Learning Center for Sustainable Futures. He is a regular contributor to The Daily Gamecock, the student operated newspaper at the University, and acts as the principal tuba for the School of Music's Concert and Symphonic Bands.

Frank was born in Boston, MA and currently resides with his family in Atlanta, GA. He is a full-time student at the University of South Carolina in Columbia, SC.
